Moormann: Ausstellung
Nils Holger Moormann is a furniture company like no other. Located in southern Bavaria, Moormann offers ingenious „furniture inventions“ – as they describe it. The company’s events are legendary, as is their self-mockery and witty communication.
For their 40th anniversary we were commissioned to design a book that reflects this conviction and their philosophy. The result is a stunning publication with no text – just images, like in an exhibition ("Ausstellung").
For the cover we used Gmund Paper with a micro embossed surface wich gives the book a subtle tactile feeling. The cover was screen printed with a vibrant orange colour that was specially mixed for this project.
